An uncreative start to the year

Where on earth did January go? My plans for a creative start to the year have unfortunately not come to fruition - I've just been too bogged down with the demands of work. I'd hoped to be able to show you colourful pieces of felt, cute little creatures and new projects but alas all I've made is a little wool bunny!

He's quite a cute little bunny, though. I have plans to make more in time for Easter,

Do you like the background on the photos? I took the pictures quickly before I lost the last of the daylight, and bunged the little bunny on some hessian I had lying about. Quite by chance, the crumpled fabric has created quite an interesting effect - I think it looks a bit like a desert landscape.
Do rabbits live in the desert, I wonder?

I'm sorry I've neglected visiting all your blogs - I'm looking forward to a free afternoon sometime soon when I can settle down and have a browse!

  2. He is adorable and I want him! I do have a weakness for bunnies though. The hessian is great I think. Suzy x

  3. Welcome back Liz! Sorry you've been frustrated by lack of creative time...I love your beautiful bunny- he's a star! He is so cute, a wonderfully organic handle-able shape and has fabulous colouring on his fur! He looks right at home on his undulating hessian plain..
Hope you do get a bit of time to relax, create and wander round some of your blog list..

  6. These photos are great. The background really looks like you've created a landscape for your bunny to live in, and it helps bring him to life. So cute!
